Traverse City-- Irma M. Barratt, 85, of Kingsley, died April 27, 2001, at Tendercare of Traverse City. She was the daughter of Walter and Grace (Pence) Barratt. A graduate of Kingsley High School, she briefly attended Ferris State College. She loved playing piano, gardening, playing games with family members, and was an avid reader. Irma was especially devoted to caring for her parents. She is survived by a sister, Edwardine (Art) Walton, nieces, Madonna (Jerry) Williams and Christine (Kevin) Walton; nephew, Kent (Beth) Walton; and nine special great-nieces and nephews. Irma was preceeded in death by her father, Walter Barratt; mother and step-father, Ed and Grace Mox; and brother, Harold Barratt. Graveside memorial services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingsley on Saturday, September 8 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Char Minger officiating. Arrangements are by the Reynolds-Jonkoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. |
